Review of Skidmark

Fear the Walking Dead: Skidmark (2019)
Season 5, Episode 4
8/10
Character driven episode filled with character development
24 June 2019
This episode moved the story in a much slower pace than the three other episodes, the episode had a huge focus on Daniel who is played by Ruben Blades. It was nice to see him more than a cameo and the writers did a surprising good job as of the writing for him. The whole story arc with Strand and Daniel was well executed and so was Alicia and Morgan's as that whole arc developed nicely as it was short but the good part was the large amount of important details. The acting was another highlight in this episode, mostly from Colman Domingo and Ruben Blades. The writing and dialogue was another thing that was good.

So what was bad with the episode? The character Charlie and some of the acting from some certain people, I don't like to hate but I have always thought Charlie was a good character when she was on the more evil side but everything after that have been awful and I hope they either kill her off or do some better writing for her. The actress could have done better, example is from S4. Another thing I disliked was the signs of lower budget in case of the zombie kills, it didn't look as good but the character driven episode made me look past most of the negative stuff.
