The lonely island guys are back. Or did they ever leave? No? Well maybe they should have. Parody songs are great, if you're 11-14 years old. This whole thing was played out while they were still airing on SNL. There is no re-watch-ibility here. Referencing 30 year old sports incidents when your audience is 10 years younger than that and couldn't throw a ball if you promised them all the moustache wax in the world seems like a swing and a miss (see what I did there?). Comparing this to Popstar is a legit thing tho, both of the productions proving it's who you know in Hollywood, not the strength of the feature, that gets things made. For shame Samberg.
