First off, at no time does a blind beast battle a killer dwarf. The film is a low budget murder "mystery" where a detective brings everyone together at the end and in classic style tells us who did what. He fills in the details that we missed. A blind man who loves the arts, is a killer and likewise so is a dwarf, but not the only ones.
The sets are cheap and almost the whole film looks and feels like a poorly produced play. This might be considered an art indie film in Japan, but didn't translate well with me.
