Too many contradictions and awful development of the story

If you lie a little bit in order to pimp your CV for an interview it shouldn't be that bad. If you picture yourself like a primadonna and you don't even have the basic knowledge of the position you are applying for, and NO ONE in the company that hires you tries to verify your credentials in a timely fashion, before conceding an interview, I'd fire the whole HHRR department for their sheer stupidity and uselessness. Do not mention the consequences of the "confession" on an event covered by Forbes and the rest of the financial media that would destroy the company's reputation. Lousy plot and disgraceful chain if events
