I went to see this movie with my friends when it first came out. I went kicking and screaming. I hated "Jackass" the t.v. show. I mean, I really hated it. So when I sat down at the Court Street movie theater in Brooklyn, NY I had a bit of a chip on my shoulder. I really didn't want to be there. Before the movie started I looked around the crowd. I don't know if it was a sellout or not but it was crowded. I thought to myself that I was surrounded by a bunch of jerks (my friends included.) However, within only a few minutes I was laughing. I couldn't help myself. Johnny Knoxville and company weren't just doing wildly dangerous stunts. They were doing wildly funny stunts. There are a few moments where I still have to close my eyes. But listening what I'm afraid to look at is still a lot fun. "Jackass:The Movie" may be the greatest movie surprise of my movie going life.
