The Cyberstalking (1999 TV Movie)

Warning: Spoilers
This is a sub-standard film hyped with a sexy photo and suggestive title. The movie is about a hi-tech dance club which features a reality performer in a seamless holographic image. The problem is that the software has created a dark ominous man who scares the heck out of the singer. Samantha (Claudine Wilde) is the original star, but then gets freaked out. She is replaced by Holly (Jean Louisa Kelly). Samantha has a brother who attempts to visit her, but her employer doesn't allow it, apparently Samantha lives at the studio too because calling her or visiting her at home is not a movie option. . The dancing and music was 1980's style, with the dancers at the club simply going through the motions. Holly, who is supposed to write her own music, performs several times, always the same song. The acting was bad, characters poorly developed, and a plot that leaves you scratching your head.

No sex or nudity and I don't recall any F-bombs. Not worth the rental. The movie can be bought as part of a 10 movie Sci-Fi pack, which has a few films worth watching.
