A Star Is Born 1976 is the 3rd remake from the same name as the 1956 and 1947 version and tells the story of an aging rocker named John Norman Howard (Kris Kristoffson) who falls in love with a young singer named Esther Hoffman(Barbara Streisland) who John helps out with her career. But will tragedy strike between the 2 lovers.
I wanted to see this version as I loved the Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga version ALOT and wanted to find out whether it was as good or bad. This 1976 version is actually not bad. The acting is grand,the plot is decent but for some strange reason I preferred the Bradley Cooper version,maybe because I bought the chemistry more and the songs were a lot better in my opinion .
Would I watch this 1976 version again maybe.
