I don't leave many reviews, but they swing so wildly from good to bad for this, that you think they must be fake right? I am not being poked or prodded to leave a positive review for reviews sake. It's not a big jump scare film, there are a few when the story requires them but it's deeper.. makes you look twice at the shadows on your way to the bathroom at night. It won't make you be sick or pass out like Facebook claims, unless you're suffering from a pre existing heart condition perhaps? It takes you on a journey through time of a dysfunctional family, which I feel can be relatable. It twists and turns and made me question the story and the people, which in my opinion is what a good film should do. Made you think about what's happening and why! I liked the characters and really felt for some of the moments in the series. The stories twist and turn back and forward in time which can be a little dizzying sometimes, but it all comes together at the end.
If you like psychological films and aren't just looking for mindless jumpscares then this might be for you. Love it or hate it, pretty sure you'll be talking about it afterwards!
