Psycho Copy Flat - The Naked Edge
17 September 2018
There were several Hollywood actors (and actresses) who were prisoners of their screen personas. Gary Cooper was one of them. He was always the aw shucks good guy with limited acting range. The same principle held true for actors such as John Wayne (good tough guy). Randolph Scott (Western Hero), Cary Grant (romantic good guy, and Scott's roommate, by the way, and several others. Only actors like Kirk Douglas, Tony Curtis, Humphrey Bogart, and a few others, make the transition from screen good guy to bad guy (or in Bogart's case, from bad guy to good guy).

The story tells of a man who witnesses a murder and sends the killer to prison. His wife, well-played by Deborah Kerr, begins to suspect he is the killer. I will not reveal the ending, but I think you can already guess it.
