Shark Lake (2015)
4/10
I liked the idea, but the realisation wasn't good.

It's not as bad as some, I've sat through some horrifically bad shark films, films where you really hope the plastic shark runs amok eating everyone and everything in sight. This film doesn't quite fall into that bracket, as it's semi watchable nonsense. The idea is quite intriguing, but after a rather decent start it begins to fall apart a little. The special effects are really bad, any hint of threat is removed by the poor special effects, but worse still is the acting, I will always watch a film with Dolph Lundgren, a bit of an 80's legend, and his acting is fine, but everyone else is so wooden. I wonder if most of the $2m budget went on his fee, rather then wages and special effects budgets. There's not much else to say to be honest, it's not abysmal, but it's far from good. 4/10
