A stellar anti-war movie where a soldier is put on trial for desertion during WWI. Starring the premiere British actors of the time Dirk Bogarde & Tom Courtenay & directed by Joseph Losey who made a few movies w/Bogarde during this period. Could play as the British counterpart to Kubrick's Paths of Glory, the film still resonates w/the trials modern soldiers go through w/their battles against PTSD.
