I can't tell you how much I've enjoyed this show. I've rewatched this season at least three times. Jay Pharoh does a great job of portraying a successful comic breaking into the world of cinema. I hate seeing reviews of people saying these characters don't reflect real life, but if you've spent anytime around the industry you'd understand they don't live in the real world most of the time. I think it reflects the antics and self-righteous of the Hollywood "elite" of 15 years ago. I know the world of white famous is set in today's times, but since it is based of Jamie Fox's experience with burgeoning fame, I feel the story comes from a place a decade ago. Maybe with everyone's feelings becoming paper thin. This show just breaks their shallow sense of self. Bring back White Famous. It had just turned the corner.
