Nifty retrospective documentary

Warning: Spoilers
This 52-minute retrospective documentary covers a lot of interesting ground on the making of the low-budget sci-fi cult classic "Liquid Sky." Director/co-writer Slava Tsukerman talks about how he was initially going to do another science fiction film called "Sweet 16" starring Klaus Kinski and Andy Warhol. Anne Carlisle admits she was basically living her life as if it was a piece of live performance art at the time she starred in "Liquid Sky." Production assistant Jeff Most discusses how he got paid three hundred bucks to dye his hair blonde so he could double Carlisle as Jimmy in scenes in which Jimmy and Margaret interact with each other. We also learn that extensive videotaped rehearsals were done before shooting, material used for the costumes was purchased at thrift stores, the disco was eventually turned into a Petco store, and the ultimate fate of several cast members (one was sadly killed in the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania on September 11, 2001). Recommended viewing for fans of the film.
