A charmless cash grab of an animated film that retains none of the whimsy to be found in the television series I enjoyed as a child.
Characterless voice work, a stupid plot, and a waste of one of the most of iconic children's show villains are just a few of the problems with this crap fest. Sometimes I think the entertainment industry thinks that just because kids are young they can't recognize garbage when they see it, but they deserve quality entertainment just like anybody else. "Smurfs: The Lost Village" isn't it.
