Detective Jack Donaldson (Callum Blue) was a hot shot young detective for the LAPD, but hasn't done anything lately. He wants to join the FBI, who appears doesn't want good experienced candidates. He has a supportive wife Clare (Emily Baldoni) who does mind when he places his job before her. A killer is webcasting his gruesome killings. We get to see the killer William Reynolds (Kerr Smith) and at 40 minutes into the feature we find out why, a reason that ties into title of the film. We suspect the final victim and how it ends. No surprise there, formula writing. Been there. Done that.
The film was a straight forward crime drama, without much in a way of a twist, except for the very end, where we get the real reason, which suggests a sequel. Good twist ending that had clues.
Guide: F-word. No sex or nudity. Women tied up in bra and panties.
Please note I would rather watch this film again than being skinned alive. Just saying.
