Pleasant, undemanding predictability
8 August 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Steve Coogan and Rob Brydon reprise their friendship, love of impersonating actors, food and familiar domestic crises in this third instalment, this time in some of the better and more scenic restaurants in Spain. Like a familiar woolly jumper, you know what you'll get, and it delivers in a pleasantly predictable sort of way. There's a bit more blokey jokiness, a bit more scenery and maybe a bit less food than previous outings.

It might be an advantage if you haven't seen their earlier Trips films, because there is a fair bit of predictability. But not going to the cinema hungry still applies.

They've been to Italy, England's Lake District and now Spain. I'd say bets are on as to where they'll turn up next – maybe some of the Greek islands, or possibly the Dalmatian coast?
