"Summertime Sadness" is a short film (or I should say music video) from almost five years ago. The artist here is Lana Del Rey. I personally did not enjoy the watch this time. The filmmaker was clearly ambitious here, but the outcome shows how he is pretty limited. This is certainly a case of style over substance as the lack of action is not compensated through an artistic achievement by any means. Apart from that, I did not like Del Rey's voice either and I felt nothing listening to her allegedly sad feelings. Is there anything positive here really? I don't think so, maybe only that it was over fairly quickly and that it's almost impossible to get worse. I highly recommend not the watch. The lyrics were also very uninspired.
