Warning: Spoilers
I've just saw it in theater. I have to say that it takes you into itself from the first moment it starts. Although it seems that the movie has a familiar history, the way the director (Çağan Irmak) handles it is laudable. It has no explicit intention to make one cry and laugh as well which makes the movie sincere I think. There is also one significant point that I appreciate about the movie. When the director and writers of the movie try to tell something about the love, they didn't use only the heteronormative point of view and they send an important massage to spectators of that the love has no gender, age etc. and it doesn't have to be necessarily between a male and female. I don't want to be unfair but I should also say that it seems that it unfortunately fell into the trap of masculinity as it only includes the love between two women. It could be more efficient for the movie if it wouldn't have excluded the love between men. Anyway, I personally find it crucial that a mainstream movie in Turkey which will be seen by many people gives a place to gay desires somehow. Additionally, some may find the some special effects using in the movie kind of simple but i think it doesn't need any better ones. One last point, the cast of the movie was great and it couldn't have been better than this. No need to mention Demet Akbağ for sure. She did a great job again and one can easily reach all emotions she is trying to give. I mean you can feel her and cry when she cries and smile when she does so. I also loved the character who is the teacher of the class. She has a high energy, is funny and quite appropriate for the movie.
