Having watched the first 3 episodes of the first season I've watched the storyline crumble before my eyes. The cardboard characters have me believing I was watching CBBC.
By the end of the second episode my sympathies had switched from the 2- dimensional good-guys to the 2-dimensional bad-guys. With Tommy a prisoner I was shouting at the screen "Just kill him!".
I have no criticism of Walliams performance, he was working with the material he was given. But I think those who should be held responsible are the writers, who lack Agatha's skills.
I really hope David Walliams and Jessica Raine careers aren't damaged by this 'incident'.
