The laydown of Ed, Edd, 'n' Eddy comes down to this. All of the characters pretty much hate each other and that is my biggest fault overall with this cartoon.
During the first few seasons of the show, the characters seem to have some common sense and some profound respect for each other.
Sarah had a crush on Double D, Ed wasn't as dumb as a rock as the series progressed on, Kevin wasn't so oppressive towards to the Ed's as he was near the series conclusion, etc.
Towards the end, it seemed Double D was the ONLY smart kid of the whole group and when you think about it, none of the characters grow up and mature until the beloved "Big Picture Show" special which wrapped everything up pretty well.
We still never found what was underneath Double D's hat and while at the time period, this show was on (1999-2009) I thought there was better CN shows to watch like The Powerpuff Girls.
In all, EEn'E is a decent attraction for those looking for a good cartoon watch to kill off some time.
