I stumbled across this gem of a documentary by accident while looking for something to distract me one afternoon. I'm very glad that I did.
Just the idea that someone would leave all that they know without any means is astonishing! No real money, income, or the absolute knowledge that they wouldn't be stranded in a civilization that they had no knowledge of and the possibility of landing amidst a war is just mind boggling! My hat is off to these young people. Their adventures are very interesting to the point that I wish I was still young enough and in good enough health to attempt such a feat.
Just to let you know, this film is the first half of the adventure. I am looking forward to the next film to see how the trip concludes.
Lastly, I'm glad Daniel found a soul mate along the way to share his dream...
