Too Close for Comfort (1980–1987)
So silly

Warning: Spoilers
The only reason I watch this show is because I love clothes from the late 1970's and early 1980's, and you get a combo of that in the first season.

The daughters are stereotypes. The fair one is the ditzy gal that all the guys want, and the darker-haired one is the responsible one.

The first two episodes of this show are so sexist, you can't even believe it's as modern as 1980. Ted Knight as the father is all up in the sex life of his daughters.

In the second episode, both the mother and the father think that Sarah is on birth control pills, and act like it's the end of the world. She's 18-19, and they told her she should have talked to them first.

They also think the pills may belong to Jackie, who is 21. They don't like the idea of her using them either.

What business is it of theirs? The daughters rent their own apartment, and one is a working woman.
