Delivery Man (2013)
6/10
Heart-Warming Comedy
22 November 2013
Warning: Spoilers
I saw "Delivery Man", starring Vince Vaughn-The Internship, Old School; Cobie Smulders-How I Met Your Mother-t.v., The Avengers-2012; Chris Pratt-Parks and Recreation-t.v. and Bobby Moynihan-SNL-t.v., When in Rome.

This is not your normal Vince Vaughn comedy. It is a comedy, but it also wants to tug at your heart strings-maybe Vince is trying to branch out a little by doing something different. It is based on a movie from Canada called 'Starbucks'-FYI:Vince uses Starbucks as a nickname in his donations of bodily fluids. Vince plays an underachiever that drives a meat delivery truck for his dad. He can not make his deliveries on time, he can not be trusted to be on time with anything, even with his girlfriend Cobie, plus, he owes a loan shark $80,000. About 20 years ago, Vince used to make extra money by donating his sperm to a fertility clinic. Because of a mix-up, his sperm was used to father 533 children, 142 of which want to know his identity. Chris plays Vince's long time friend that is a part time lawyer and Bobby plays one of Vince's brothers. The dilemma involves whether Vince should take responsibility and fess up to the kids-they are filing a class action law suit to learn his true identity. It's rated "PG-13" for violence, language, sexual content-no nudity-and drug content and has a running time of 1 hour & 43 minutes. It's not one that I would buy on DVD but it would be alright, as a rental.
