Somewhere Tonight is a sweet love story about two lonely people living in New York City. Wooly, played by John Turturro, is a bike messenger and Patti is an agoraphobic shut-in. They are both trying to find love and companionship on an adult phone chat line. Wooly and Patti are sexually inexperienced because of their lack of social skills and quirky personalities. Neither character finds what they are expecting in these phone calls, but their attempts to form a romantic relationship are comical and sometimes frustrating for them. Both John Turturro and Katherine Borowitz do a wonderful job of displaying their characters' unusual personalities with funny dialog and convincing performances that will keep the viewer smiling and interested right up to the end of the movie. Michael Di Jaccomo has done a great job of creating characters that we really care about and audiences will love the charming ending!
