Lock the bag away for heavens sake....

Warning: Spoilers
I like Adkins. In the past few years he has been making some decent movies, and he has the potential to be a big Direct to DVD star, just like we had back in the eighties.

But this is just a mess. Take one part Desperado, one part Payback, and mingle Michael Bay with Robert Rodriguez, and then take away any urgency, humour or clever writing, you get this.

It's the same tired story. Drifter comes into town, pulls the barmaid, has a few scuffles with the local gang, who are always in cahoots with the Sheriff, and then later in the film, you get an extended cameo from someone who was big twenty years ago, and then just shoot guns.

I'm even boring myself writing about it. It's way to long, if they had trimmed twenty minutes of it, it still would have been dodgy, but at least I wouldn't have been as bored.

We get endless shots of Adkins looking concerned or perplexed, and if some tried to take his bag once, they tried at least fifteen times. It was beyond silly how many times his bag was threatened.

It's not Adkins fault, he hasn't been given a good script, he's okay, but he's a lot better in other movies.

It could have been good, but my gosh, it's a stinker.

Shame on you Joel Silver, you produced Die hard...
