Good fun and super hit music by R D Burman
25 October 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh were a hit pair in 70s till her exit from films, Their first film together was Zahreela Insaan(1974) a flop film with the hit song O Hansini which was however picturised on Rishi and Moushami Chatterji. Their pairing bounced back in 1975 with 2 hits like Rafoo Chakkar and this film. The film also starred Rakesh Roshan along with bombshell of that time Aruna Irani. The film starts off as a campus fare with pranks being played on students in college in Simla, Rakesh plays a prank on Rishi Kapoor who is a new student, after a tiff in the canteen they become thick friends and predictably Rishi falls for Neetu and thankfully no love triangle. Soon the film turns gears by the interval point and becomes a suspense thriller and slowly we are involved into the proceedings and the film manages to keep your interest alive. The pace does drop a bit in the second half but picks up with the climax which is filmy though after all being a 1975 product yet satisfying. Though Rakesh Roshan's character remains a bit sketchy till the end. Some questions too are left unanswered.

Direction by Ravi Tandon is fantastic Music by R D Burman is super hit and became very famous. Many songs are still remembered. Kishore and Asha Jodi is in full form here too Be it the fun loving Aye Lo Pyaar ke din, ek main aur ek tu, Khullam Khulla Pyaar karenge their chemistry is awesome.
