I am not a youngster, but I have become a fan of the TV show "Glee." I have always enjoyed music, singing, and dancing. In fact back in the 1960s I was in a 28-performance student musical at Purdue University. I can't return to those days but watching these kids brings back some of the joy we kids had all those years ago.
So here we have, on DVD, the 2D version of the 3D Glee Concert. Held in a number of different cities, the presentation on DVD includes performances from different venues.
Confession time, by far my favorite is Heather Morris as the sometimes ditzy Brittany. I like her for the character, but I like her even more for her dancing. She has an ideal physique and her dancing and stage movement are just wonderful to watch.
The only thing I personally did NOT care for were the various interviews with fans inserted at various points in the program. I really don't care what young fans think of their favorites, or how "Glee" has influenced their lives. I understand some will like it, but not for me. I just wanted to see and hear the performances which, by the way, are accompanied by great surround sound.
So for me this "Glee the Concert" was a pleasure.
