This murder/kidnapping/pedophile case has a number of twists to it and one really unlikeable father-and-son tandem, both of whom need, literally, to take their meds or they instantly turn psycho.
Unfortunately, the father is an FBI agent. It's amazing how times Hollywood portrays the FBI in a negative light. I question how many agents act this irrational and over-the-the-top. Anyway, he's on a mission tracking down this known pedophile who, it appears, has now taken his kids! Later, we find out his son - one of the kids allegedly kidnapped - has also got mental problems, big-time. His scenes are not fun to watch.
Meanwhile, we get good acting performances from Jorja Fox ("Sara Sidle"), Paul Gilfolye ("Capt. Brass" and others -- in this intense story.
