Propaganda - Well written and executed but still propaganda
11 September 2011
Well acted, realistic, good production, decent songs. Not deserving of the praises mentioned by other reviewers and definitely not worth the rave revues its getting unless you wave nationalistic flags in your reviews.

The story is a condensed Pakistani soap opera, the likes of which are normally serialized over 24 45 minute episodes on local channels. The writers axe is well and truly ground highlighting their opinions on social issues advocating birth control time & again. Interesting to see the film getting UK and European Megaplex time (probably sanctioned by right wing groups fearful of these exploding populations Normally Lollywood films couldn't imagine getting the airplay time this film is getting.

The Lollywood industry seems to specialise in these conscience dramas, Policy making couldn't be more entertaining. Realistic acting and gritty if a little far fetched. Nice way to scare women and young boys from ever going to Pakistan. Sickly Funny for depravity in parts though i'm not sure that the director intended it. Not really cinema material probably better to wait for DVD release
