Watched this movie on a Sunday night and found it just the right flick to end the weekend with a smile on my face.
Jack Nicholson seems to be like a good bottle of wine, getting better and better with age. He's brilliant in this movie, and as ever so often, you're never quite sure whose side he's really on. Adam Sandler plays the ever so innocent guy, seemingly being taken advantage of everyone around him. His character is lovable, and I could hardly imagine a better actor for this role.
I wanted something light for Sunday evening, something to entertain me and make me laugh, and I certainly got what I was looking for. A funny movie with some hilarious scenes and not overdoing it on the slapstick. And even with a little twist at the end, with a certain "ahaa" effect.
