The Yogi Bear Show (1961–1962)
9/10
Hey, hey, hey!
12 May 2010
The Yogi Bear Show is not my absolute favourite of the Hanna-Barbera shows; I think Scooby Doo Where are You? and The Flintstones are better, but this is still a very funny and smart show. The animation is crisp, colourful and smooth, and the music is really infectious with a theme tune that sticks firmly in your head for ages afterwards. The story lines are interesting and exciting, the writing like the show is funny and smart and the gags are inspired. I love the characters, lovable Yogi, Snagglepuss, Boo Boo, Yakky Doodle, Chopper, Cindy Bear and Fibber Fox, they are all great and likable. They are all well voiced by a truly terrific voice cast, Daws Butler, Don Messick, June Foray and Mel Blanc all to name a few. Overall, hey, hey, hey, this is a very entertaining show. Look out for it! 9/10 Bethany Cox
