Johnny Bravo (1997–2004)
9/10
Witty, fun, original and well animated- shame it meandered over the years

Johnny Bravo in its glory days was a brilliant show that I watched religiously on Cartoon Network. The concept was simple, but very original. The show had great animation, clever music, a funny, likable and endearing protagonist in the name of Johnny Bravo, witty writing and fun story lines. Also I liked the side characters, Carl was a character who was funny and nerdy and I kind of felt sorry for him as he kept being the butt of the joke. Pops was also really funny, and Little Suzy was great, as was Johnny's mum.

Then over recent years, what happened? Carl and Pops were omitted, the animation was somewhat shoddier in comparison, the writing wasn't as funny and witty and some of the story lines were on the lame side. Though I still liked Johnny, the music and the voice acting. Speaking of the voice acting, everybody did a great job, but I have to say especially Jeff Bennett was perfect for Johnny, very hip and cool. Overall, while it meandered over recent years, it was a wonderful show in its glory days. 9/10 Bethany Cox
