Beautiful horror movie!

House of Wax (1953), starring Vincent Price.

This is a movie that just oozes out class and charm. It's not horror in the way of splattering blood and flying body parts, but more in the lines of something unspeakable happening. Something that will set the hairs on the back of your neck on end.

House of Wax tells of a wax sculptor who lives for his work. One fateful night, his workshop along with all his creations burns down. Miraculously, the sculptor escapes from the fire. He swears to take revenge upon the one who destroyed his lovely statues of wax. But he doesn't stop there...

The acting is classic. It's the typical style you'd expect in a movie of that era. Vincent Price once again delivers a wonderful performance.

I also have to make a note of the scenery and setting of this film. It's very charming.

And of course (how can I forget) the wax sculptures. They look absolutely amazing...

Go watch this classic when you get the chance. It won't be a boring ride, I guarantee it.
