Monica decides to give Rachel a surprise party in her birthday. The problem is that Rachel parents just got divorced and they just can't handle each other, so the only option is to split the party in two different apartments, as two parties. One party will be in Joey's and Chandler's apartment, and the other in Monica's and Rachel's.
