I've always had a weakness for the Lethal Weapon movies and this reminded me a lot of them. The chemistry wasn't quite what it should be in a buddy-cop movie but Harrison Ford presence made up for that. As always, he was a delight to watch...Hartnett, however,was diminished to a talking prop...
Of course it was no where near as good as the movies it pays homage to, but fans of the genre will enjoy it non the less. It's a fun movie and that's really all it needs to be. I'm not really a fan of the over-the-top humor that seems to rule the comedy films these days, so this kind of humor really surprised and delighted me...
I can guarantee you a good time if you liked Bad Boys, Lethal Weapon, 48 hours etc.
