Funny and charming comedy!
2 July 2007
This is a funny, charming early Australian comedy, based on mistaken identity.

James Brown and his buddy, Chic Williams, get into a fight one night after drinking. But the next day, they can't remember very well exactly what happened. However, they then hear that the police are looking for a "James Brown" - who is wanted for killing a policeman! They think it must be them the police are looking for! On the other hand, the police are looking for the main character - who is also named "James Brown" - to tell him that his uncle overseas died, and that he's inherited a lot of money.

This sets up the rest of the story. Overall, it's a funny (and charming) comedy, with some great routines. It's set both in the city and in the Australian outback. The funniest moments go to the brilliant Pat Hanna. As well as producing and writing the movie, Hanna also plays James Brown's sidekick, Chic Williams.
