I was really surprised about this movie. For one I goth the movie was going to be a chick flick similar to An Officer and a Gentleman(which was actually a good movie in its own rights). But I found that this was more than a military movie than a psychological drama. This was a movie about a man who had to deal with a number of tasks to deal with acceptance. He has to learn to accept help, he has to learn to deal with his own self worth, and he has to deal with consequences for his actions. This is a man who always felt alone but only had to look around himself too see that there were more people in his corner than he realized. I would recommend this movie based on the fact that many people need to look around and see what is actually around them. Excelsior!
