The scenery is gorgeous and the soundtrack is beautiful. The acting by Hans Mathiason I thought was particularly good. I also liked a sex scene that wasn't bare-all, for a change. And there's nothing like a good ghost story. I recognized some effective eerie techniques that have also worked in other recent films, and that is why I was disappointed with other things that could have been left out... the typing while wearing heavy black gloves (ever tried it?) was cheap and stood out as unnecessary, and the murder plot as a whole seemed predictable and badly written. But I was impressed overall and glad I saw it.
