This one didn't do much for me. I haven't seen a whole lot of south-of-the-border horror - but I wasn't really impressed with this entry. A relatively dull nunsploit joint that really only delivers with some nudity and blood, but nothing else really memorable - except for the incessant screaming by everyone involved.
Justine comes to a convent and meets Alucarda - a strange resident of the convent who meets some weird gypsy and worships Satan. The rest is pretty much a blur of a few decent nudie shots and some blood - and a "climax" where Alucarda sets all of the residents on fire in a barrage of screaming and flames...
I don't get the "atmosphere" or "creepiness" that everyone else talks about this film - the acting is over-done by pretty much everyone involved and I found myself uninterested after the first fifteen minutes. Not the worst thing I've ever seen by any stretch - but personally not worth it's "classic" status either. Worth a look to nunsploit fans (I guess...) but I'll stick to SCHOOL OF THE HOLY BEAST myself...5/10
