I like this movie, a lot. Because Verdone is funny, because it's a very nice love story, and because of the beautiful co-protagonist Margherita Buy. There are many laughs in this movie.
I know, Verdone is most appreciated for his first movies, but I think he did some little gems, like this one, later on. Fans are always conservatives. They would like an artist to do the same stuff ever and ever. Artists instead experiment, change, sometimes they do the right thing and sometimes not. I am afraid lately Verdone did some really horrible and useless movies, I still wonder how, but I appreciate his talent when I think he deserves it. And this time is certainly the case.
