I took a chance with this film, not knowing much about it prior to renting it. I was most pleasantly surprised at how good the film was. Justin's transformation throughout the story is beautifully portrayed as each figure he interacts with plays a different role in this transformation. Keanu Reaves does a great job, as does Vince Vaughn and Vincent D'onofrio. With a feel comparable to a mix between Donnie Darko and Garden State, this picture will leave you glad to have seen it. You'll be impressed and happy to see the challenges Justin overcomes to reach his ultimate goal. Witty, and original, Thumbsucker is worth paying money to see it.
