5/10
a teenage girl moves to a different city so she tries to make her life more interesting

Warning: Spoilers
I am 15 years old and i've had to watch the film at least 3 times to like it. Lindsay Lohan stars as this Lola (she makes up her name because she doesn't like hers, Mary). She moves from new York to Dellwood which is hard for every teenage girl when you have to move. She has to find friends and fit into her school. She also acts as though she can get anything she wants and she also likes to lie a lot about things that aren't real like the fact that her dad is dead just to fit into her school. How pathetic!!!! and also the movie is made very unrealistic because a famous pop star, Sid Arthur, would not just come to your house to give you your lost necklace!!! its too unbelievable. however, the story is based on going out after what you believe and in Lola's case it's going to this concert to see Sid Arthur perform for the last time. every teenage girl now and then has a crush on a famous pop star and film star and if you do collect all their singles and albums you would want to go and see them in their last concert. i don't think the bits such as Ms Magolie going into the drama room looking for something is as realistic or the cartoon bits with her mum dressed in pink and her dad hitting the pizza truck. also Lindsay Lohan's dress sense to school is way lame, you would never go dressed like that to a school. and another thing is Lola is meant to be 15 but looks like a 19 year old!!! over all i think the film deserves 5/10 and that is only because it's got great songs and dances.
