Review of Cujo

Cujo (1983)
7/10
The horror of a rabid dog
7 June 2005
1983 was a good year in film and certainly for Stephen King, whose film adaptations fall into all types of quality. This is one that is above average.

The script is OK, most of it is based on being trapped in the car which leaves it up to the actors to deliver. And they do. The mother and her son do a good job, and so does the St. Bernhard. How they managed to get it so angry is beyond me, but I hope they were nice.

They did a real good job making the otherwise friendly looking St. Bernhard look grisly and nasty and the attack scenes as well are quite scary. If you disagree to that your experience of the movie won't amount to much because it doesn't offer more than that.

That is the lousiest poster I've seen btw.
