Transcendalist Horror Movies
9 April 2005
The somewhat new genre of "horror comedy" seemed awful before it even got rolling, but this film is a bright exception to the -Scary Movie- -Scream- and -I Know What You Did Last Summer- series of wastes of time. This low budget gem was full of pithy one-liners and tongue in cheek jokes that never got old or tiring. And, who doesn't love a horror movie that includes a character who compares himself to Henry David Thoreau?

I'd recommend this movie to people like myself who claim not to be keen on horror flicks- I think they, like me, will be very pleasantly surprised.

I'm interested to see what this filmmaker will do next.
