I watched "Garage Days" by Alex Proyas for the first time on cable last night.
I didn't see it when it had it's cinema release in Australia.
It's all shot around Newtown and Enmore in Sydney, Australia and as grungy as it looked it made me miss home for the first time since I moved to NY.
Recognizing all of the scenes where things were shot and thinking about different times in my life made me think of good friends.
Happy to be here in NY but I've been missing home and good friends for the last half an hour.
If you're an Aussie watch it for the memories, If you're from overseas watch it to enjoy the warm feeling you get from spending time with good friends.
Highly recommended as a good example of Aussie friendship movies.
