Throughout this movie, I felt as if I was watching a very honest struggle between the characters. It always amazes me how far people can go before they admit there is a problem. When Terry finally hears Jack speak of his infidelity, it hits her like a load of bricks and she finally realizes that it's over. I can see how people may find fault with all four main characters, but this is one of those rare movies where the filmmakers are not bent on having one "good" character, but rather focuses on honest characters that, in the end, have honest choices to make. Not a happy movie, but definitely a film that showcases great talent with honest characters.
