The trouble for me was that from the first moments I knew where this was going to go. One does not need to be a rocket scientist to know what direction this is going to go. Think about it pregnancy and you've filled in a good chunk of the plot.
The fact that I couldn't predict the 3 first films, even the second TV film which I wasn't a big fan of, added greatly to the enjoyment.
I also was not a big fan of how a large portion of this film repeated or referenced almost every scary moment of the earlier films.

Yes the effects are great and there are several creepy moments but for me this one just didn't come together the way it should have. There is something wrong about the film and it effectively ends the series as we know it, maybe...
