Oh Johnny boy, you showed so much promise in the '90's, when you penned "Shallow Grave", "Trainspotting", and to a lesser extant "A Life Less Ordinary". What happened to you?? The supurb talent of Peter O'Toole can't save this story about two competing A-hole game show hosts( J.J and his son, Jonathon) fighting for an American job. The above was a bit of a spoiler and keep in mind that I never spoil GOOD films. That should clue you into where I sit with this one. John Hodge is still 50/50 when movies are concerned which is an ok ratio, until you realize at the turn of the century with 3 films under his belt he was batting 1,000
