As far as Canadian movies go, I haven't always been impressed. Greats like "The Red Violin" don't come around too often, and I think "Waydowntown" deserves more recognition. I know a lot of people who didn't see it simply because it didn't play at "The big movie Theatres". This movie is a joy for anyone, even those that don't get some of the deeper meanings or subtleties.
I found it not only hilarious, but thought provoking and enticing. I haven't had that much fun at the movies in years. It's 1337!
