Can't believe I'm talking about the same movie as other reviewers

I can't believe what I'm reading on this site (and others). I must have seen a different movie than everyone else. I thought this was one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. DeNiro is one of my favorite actors. For the most part he does a good job with what he's given here, but the story is so lame that not even DeNiro can really carry it. Gooding is another fine actor who has to completely ham his way through this. The rest of the cast is completely one-dimensional and shallow. The plot is based on a true story; but, it has been so hollywood-ized that it has become completely implausible. It's so sappy and overacted, it made we want my money back. Truly awful. Don't waste your time!
